Proxy

Proxy

The Proxy tab points the Runner's network connections through an intermediary. Use it when your corporate network requires authentication, or when internet access goes through a proxy server.

Turning the proxy on

1. In the admin panel, open the Proxy tab.
2. Turn on the Enable proxy toggle.
3. The configuration fields become editable.

Configuring the proxy

With the toggle on, fill in the fields:

Field	What it is	Required
Protocol	The proxy type: HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5	Yes
Host	The proxy server's address (e.g. proxy.company.com or an IP)	Yes
Port	The proxy server's port (e.g. 8080, 3128)	Yes
User	The user to authenticate with, if the proxy asks for one	No
Password	The password to authenticate with, if the proxy asks for one	No

Then click Save.

Restart required

Proxy settings only take effect after the Runner is restarted.

Turning the proxy off

To go back to a direct connection:

1. Turn off the Enable proxy toggle.
2. Click Save.
3. Restart the Runner.
