Set value of a cell

Sets or updates the value of a specific cell in a tab of an Excel file.


Options​

Excel tab​

Select or enter the Excel tab where the information will be entered.

Column to enter the information​

Enter the letter of the cell's column, for example D.

Fill in the last cell of the column?​

Option to select Yes or No. When set to Yes, the row field is hidden and the value is entered in the first empty row after the column's last filled cell.

Line to enter the information​

Enter the number of the cell's row, for example 2. This field is shown only when Fill in the last cell of the column? is set to No.

Value type​

Select the type of formatting or data to enter in the cell (e.g. Value).

Value​

Enter the text, number or data to enter in the cell.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

  • The column (and row, when applicable) reference must be valid.
  • Save the file after making changes to persist the data.
