Change cell style

Change cell style

Changes the formatting style of an Excel cell, including font size, color and type.


Options​

Excel tab​

Select or enter the Excel tab where the style will be changed.

Column to change cell style​

Enter the letter of the cell's column, for example D.

Line to change cell style​

Enter the number of the cell's row, for example 2.

Font​

Enter or select the name of the desired font, for example Times New Roman.

Font size​

Enter the font size to apply.

Text color (hex)​

Select the color to apply to the cell's text using the color picker.

Background color (hex)​

Select the color to apply to the cell's background using the color picker.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The Excel tab, Column to change cell style and Line to change cell style fields are required.
  • The style fields are optional: only the filled fields are applied to the cell.
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
