Save excel file

Saves the changes made to an Excel file opened in the flow, making sure every modification is persisted to disk.


Options​

Excel​

Select the Excel file opened earlier in the flow that will be saved.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The Excel field is required.
  • The file must have been opened earlier by the Open excel file action.
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
