Run a macro

Runs a VBA macro previously created in an Excel file opened in the flow.


Options​

Excel​

Select the Excel file opened in the flow.

Macro name​

Enter the exact name of the macro to run.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required.
  • The Excel file must contain the given macro.
  • Excel macros must be enabled in the execution environment.
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
