Rename an Excel Tab

Renames an existing tab in an Excel file opened in the flow.


Options​

Excel tab​

Select the Excel tab to rename, obtained earlier in the flow by the Select an Excel tab or Create an Excel tab actions.

New name​

Enter the new name for the tab.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required.
  • The new name cannot be the same as another existing tab.
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
