Get the value of a cell

Gets the value and the formula of a specific cell in a tab of an Excel file.


Options​

Excel tab​

Select or enter the Excel tab that holds the cell.

Column to get the information​

Enter the letter of the cell's column, for example A.

Line to get the information​

Enter the number of the cell's row, for example 2.

Returns​

  • Cell value — Returns the value stored in the cell.
  • Cell formula — Returns the cell's formula, when it has one.
  • Cell position — Returns the cell reference.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required.
  • The column and row reference must be valid (e.g. Column A, Row 2).
