Clone an Excel tab

Clone an Excel tab

Creates a copy of an existing tab in an Excel file, including all of its content and formatting.


Options​

Excel tab to be duplicated​

Select the Excel tab to duplicate, obtained earlier in the flow by the Select an Excel tab or Create an Excel tab actions.

New tab name​

Enter the name for the cloned tab.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required.
  • The new tab name cannot be the same as an existing tab.
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
