Add Image in Excel

Inserts an image at a specific position of an Excel tab.


Options​

Excel tab​

Select the Excel tab, obtained earlier in the flow by the Select an Excel tab or Create an Excel tab actions.

Image path​

Enter the full path of the image file to insert.

Column to append​

Enter the letter of the column of the cell where the image will be anchored, for example B.

Line to attach​

Enter the number of the row of the cell where the image will be anchored, for example 2.

Advanced options​

Image size​

Enter the image size as a percentage of the original size, for example 100 to keep the original size or 50 for half. The default value is 1.

Image name​

The image name is meant to identify it when manipulating it. It is not displayed on the worksheet.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required, except Image name.
  • The image must be in a format supported by Excel (PNG, JPG, GIF).
  • This action is only available on Windows, because it uses the Microsoft Excel installed on the computer. On macOS and Linux, the action fails with the message "only available on Windows".
