FTP - Download file

Downloads a file from the FTP server and saves it to a local path on the computer. Ideal for automating the retrieval of reports, documents or any file available on the FTP server without manual access.


Options​

Connection​

Select the FTP: Connect action that will be used to reach the server.

Remote path​

Enter the full path of the file on the FTP server, including the file name and its extension.

Local path​

Enter the full path the file will be saved to on the local computer, including the destination file name.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • Every field is required.
  • The local path must include the name and extension of the destination file.
  • If a file already exists at the given local path, it is replaced.
