Read PDF by regions

Reads a PDF document using a previously created region model, extracting the data from the areas defined in the model. Ideal for extracting structured data from fixed-layout PDFs such as invoices, statements and forms.


Options​

PDF path​

Enter the full path of the PDF file to read. Example: C:\Desktop\fatura.pdf.

Extraction template​

Select the region model created earlier by the PDF Data Region Model action.

Returns​

  • Region text — Returns the text extracted from each region defined in the model.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The PDF path and Extraction template fields are required.
  • The given PDF must have the same layout as the one used to create the region model.
  • The region model must have been created earlier by the PDF Data Region Model action.
