PDF Data Region Model

Creates or updates a data extraction region model for use with PDFs. The model defines specific areas of the document where the data is read, allowing precise extractions from PDFs with a consistent structure.


Options​

PDF model​

Upload or set up the PDF file used as the base for defining the extraction regions. The interface lets you visually mark the areas of interest in the document.

Remove the model already uploaded?​

Lets you remove an existing region model to recreate it from scratch.

Returns​

The ID of this action is used as a reference by the Read PDF by regions action.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The model must be set up with the extraction regions correctly marked before the reading action uses it.
  • The model must be recreated if the PDF layout changes.
  • Use the Read PDF by regions action to extract the data based on the created model.
