Press a key

Presses a specific keyboard key, which can be a common key or a shortcut key (such as Enter, Alt, Ctrl, Shift). It allows you to configure how many times the key will be pressed and the interval between the presses.


Options​

Key type​

Select the type of key to be pressed:

Shortcut key​

Select a shortcut key from the list available (e.g. Enter, Alt, Ctrl, Shift).

Common key​

Enter manually the character or code of the key to be pressed.

Number of times​

Enter how many times the key will be pressed consecutively in this action.

Delay between key presses​

Enter the time interval in seconds between each key press when the number is greater than 1.

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The Key field is required.
  • The default value of Number of times is 1.
  • The time interval is given in seconds.
  • Make sure the system focus is on the right application before the key is pressed.
