Send a team channel message

Sends a text message in a channel of a Microsoft Teams team.


Options​

Teams login​

Select the Teams Login or Connection action set up in the flow.

Team ID​

Enter the team ID, for example the id return of the Get a team by title action.

Channel ID​

Enter the ID of the channel where the message will be sent, for example the id return of the Get a team channel by title action.

Message​

Enter the message content. The text is sent in HTML format, so tags such as <b> and <br> are interpreted.

Attachments​

Enter the local paths of the files to attach to the message (optional).

Returns​

This action has no returns.

Rules and Conditions​

  • The Teams login, Team ID, Channel ID and Message fields are required.
  • Each attachment is uploaded to the OneDrive of the connected account, in the Roberty/Anexos folder, and shared by link with the organization. The message gets the list of attachments with the links at the end. An attachment that cannot be uploaded is skipped.
