Delete an item from a drive

Permanently removes a file or folder from a SharePoint drive.

Options

Drive

Select the action that gets the SharePoint drive: Get a drive from the list or Get drive by name.

Path of the item to be deleted

Enter the path of the file or folder, from the root of the drive, for example Documents/report.pdf.

Select the SharePoint connection set up in the flow.

Drive

Select the drive the operation will run on.

Item ID

Enter the ID of the file or folder to delete.

Field selection

• success — indicates if the item was deleted successfully (Boolean)

Rules and Conditions

• The Drive and Path of the item to be deleted fields are required.
• When a folder is deleted, all its content is deleted too.
• If Microsoft Graph rejects the operation (item not found, insufficient permission, etc.), the action fails with the error message returned by the API.
