Send a file to the drive

Uploads a local file to a specific path in OneDrive.


Options​

OneDrive account​

Select the OneDrive Login or Connection action set up in the flow.

Path in the drive where the file will be sent​

Enter the destination path in OneDrive from the root of the drive, including the file name and extension, for example Documents/report.pdf.

Local file path​

Enter the full path of the local file to upload, for example C:\files\report.pdf.

Field selection​

  • success — indicates if the file was uploaded successfully (Boolean)
  • uploadedItem — the uploaded item (Any)

Rules and Conditions​

  • The OneDrive account, Path in the drive where the file will be sent and Local file path fields are required.
  • The local file must exist and be accessible by the robot.
  • uploadedItem has the id, name, size, webUrl, createdDateTime, lastModifiedDateTime, createdBy, lastModifiedBy, parent and file.mimeType of the uploaded file.
  • If Microsoft Graph rejects the operation (item not found, insufficient permission, etc.), the action fails with the error message returned by the API.
