Move an item from the drive

Move an item from the drive

Moves a file or folder to a new destination within OneDrive.


Options​

OneDrive account​

Select the OneDrive Login or Connection action set up in the flow.

Current path of the file or folder to be moved​

Enter the current path of the file or folder from the root of the drive, including the item name, for example Inbox/report.pdf.

Path of the folder where the file or folder will be moved to​

Enter the path of the destination folder from the root of the drive, for example Processed/2024.

Field selection​

  • success — indicates if the item was moved successfully (Boolean)

Rules and Conditions​

  • The OneDrive account, Current path of the file or folder to be moved and Path of the folder where the file or folder will be moved to fields are required.
  • The source item and the destination folder must exist in OneDrive.
  • If Microsoft Graph rejects the operation (item not found, insufficient permission, etc.), the action fails with the error message returned by the API.
