Create folder in the drive

Creates a new folder at a specific path in OneDrive.


Options​

OneDrive account​

Select the OneDrive Login or Connection action set up in the flow.

Path where the folder will be created​

Enter the path of the folder where the new folder will be created, from the root of the drive, for example Documents/2024. Leave it empty to create it in the root of the drive.

New folder name​

Enter the name of the new folder.

Field selection​

  • createdDateTime — the date and time the folder was created (Text)
  • id — the ID of the folder (Text)
  • lastModifiedDateTime — the date and time the folder was last modified (Text)
  • name — the name of the folder (Text)
  • webUrl — the URL of the folder (Text)
  • createdBy — the name and email of the user who created the folder (Any)
  • lastModifiedBy — the name and email of the user who last modified the folder (Any)
  • parentReference — the reference to the parent folder (Any)

Rules and Conditions​

  • The OneDrive account and New folder name fields are required.
  • The path entered must already exist in OneDrive.
  • If an item with the same name already exists in the destination, the folder is created with an automatically changed name.
  • If Microsoft Graph rejects the operation (item not found, insufficient permission, etc.), the action fails with the error message returned by the API.
