Table > Update a row

Updates the values of a specific row of a table in an Excel file hosted on OneDrive or SharePoint.


Options​

Drive type​

Select where the Excel file is stored: SharePoint or OneDrive. The selected option defines which source field is shown next.

SharePoint or OneDrive drive​

Shown when the Drive type is SharePoint. Select the action that gets the SharePoint drive where the file is stored: Get a drive from the list or Get drive by name.

OneDrive account​

Shown when the Drive type is OneDrive. Select the OneDrive Login action set up in the flow.

Excel path in the drive​

Enter the path of the Excel file from the root of the drive, including the name and extension, for example Reports/sales.xlsx.

Excel sheet name​

Enter the name of the spreadsheet tab, for example Sheet1.

Table name​

Enter the name of the Excel table.

Row index to be updated​

Enter the index of the row to update.

Values of the new row​

Enter the new values of the row, one for each table column, in the column order.

  • success — indicates if the new row was successfully updated (Boolean)

Rules and Conditions​

  • The Drive type, Excel path in the drive fields and the matching source (SharePoint or OneDrive drive or OneDrive account) are required.
  • Also required: Excel sheet name, Table name, Row index to be updated and Values of the new row.
  • Row counting starts at 0, which is the first data row of the table (below the header).
  • If Microsoft Graph rejects the operation (item not found, insufficient permission, etc.), the action fails with the error message returned by the API.
