Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect your account with an extra layer of security.

MFA

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second verification step to sign-in, asking for a code from an authenticator app on top of your password.

Setting up MFA

1. On the MFA tab, click Set up MFA.
2. Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
3. In the app, add a new account and scan the QR code on the screen.
4. Enter the 6-digit code the app generates.
5. Click Confirm.

MFA is active as soon as you confirm.

Turning MFA off

1. On the MFA tab, click Turn off MFA.
2. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app.
3. Confirm.

caution

If your workspace requires MFA, turning it off will lock you out of the workspace until MFA is set up again.
